PEORIA, Ill. -- Bradley Women's Basketball will have a total of five newcomers on the 2020-21 roster with fifth-year head coach Andrea Gorski announcing the addition of Winthrop transfer Uchechi Ufochukwu (Benin City, Nigeria/Archbishop Carroll H.S. [Washington D.C.]/Winthrop).
A fifth-year transfer, the 6-4 Ufochukwu has one year of eligibility remaining and will be the tallest player on a Bradley roster since Dena Williams wrapped up her career in 2004-05.
"Uchechi will add size and physicality to our roster along with leadership and competitiveness," said Gorski. "She is a perfect complement to our team in both character and work ethic and she is looking to make a big impact in her final year of college basketball.
