ST. LOUIS, MO – The Valley's co-leading scorer during the 2018 regular season, Bradley junior forward Gerit Wintermeyer (Wiesbaden, German/Friedrich-Ebert Schule) has been named to the preseason All-Missouri Valley Conference Men's Soccer Team, according to a vote of the league's six head coaches announced Thursday.
In addition to the reveal of the preseason all-conference squad, The Valley also unveiled the preseason poll and the Braves (8-5-4, 1-5-0 MVC in 2018) have been picked fourth in the poll of the coaches. Bradley returns a league-high eight starters from its 2018 squad, led by the combination of Wintermeyer and senior forward Roman Schindler, who was the team's leading scorer in 2017.
