ST. LOUIS – Two weeks, two Missouri Valley Conference Player-of-the-Week awards for Bradley Soccer. A week after senior Jacob McKee was named the MVC Defensive Player of the Week, junior forward Gerit Wintermeyer (Wiesbaden, Germany) has been tabbed The Valley Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, according to an announcement by the league office Tuesday.
A preseason All-MVC selection, Wintermeyer helped extend Bradley's non-conference unbeaten streak to 17 games by scoring the lone goal in Friday's 1-0 win against IUPUI and hitting the net again in Sunday's 2-2 draw against Oakland, both at Shea Stadium.
