Bradley sophomores forward Gerit Wintermeyer (Wiesbaden, Germany) and midfielder Younes Dayekh (San Jose, CA Heritage HS) have earned 2018 All-West Region honors form the United Soccer Coaches, according to an announcement from the national coaching organization Wednesday. Wintermeyer was selected second-team All-West Region while Dayekh was vote to the third team.
Wintermeyer was the Braves' catalyst all season long, leading Bradley with 20 points and eight goals. He also led the Braves with four game-wining goals this season, and he will enter his junior season in 2019 as Bradley's active leader with 34 career points.
