After a disappointing first round loss in the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament last Friday, the Redbird season will continue in the Women's National Invitation Tournament.
ISU is headed to an eight-team regional in Memphis, Tenn., and will face Tulane (17-8) at 8 p.m. Friday in the first round.
ISU has a 15-7 record and was among 23 at-large teams chosen for the 32-team tournament. It will be the first Redbird postseason appearance since the 2012-13 season.
Drake and Northern Iowa also made the field from the MVC.
Other WNIT regionals are located in Rockford, Charlotte, N.
