NORMAL, Ill. – Under the direction of third-year head coach Leah Johnson, the Illinois State volleyball team made its second-straight NCAA Tournament appearance in 2019 after capturing its 11th Missouri Valley Conference Tournament Title.
The program wants fans to join the winning tradition of Redbird volleyball and help raise another championship banner in 2020 by securing their season tickets as part of the 'Raise the Banner' campaign. Illinois State is coming off its fourth 20-win season in five years and third-straight that resulted in post-season play. The Redbirds are 69-33 with Johnson at the helm and will return a trio of All-Missouri Valley Conference players in Stef Jankiewicz, Sydney Holt and Kaylee Martin for the 2020 season.
