Valparaiso, Ind. – The Bradley baseball team saw its three-game winning streak snapped on Saturday as Valparaiso earned an 8-2 home win. The Braves are now 16-26 on the year with an 8-9 mark in Missouri Valley play, while the Beacons improve to 15-29 and 4-13 versus league foes.
Valpo gained an early advantage when the hosts hit five singles in the third frame to take a 3-0 lead. The Beacons then added two via a home run in the sixth to gain some breathing room before finishing off their scoring with two doubles in the eighth.
