BLOOMINGTON, IL - The Missouri Valley Conference women's tennis season will start with the I-74 Rivalry as Bradley visits Illinois State Saturday afternoon on the indoor courts of the Bloomington Tennis Center.
Although Bradley (3-11) is expected to field a full, 6-player lineup Saturday, both teams have limped into the Valley season with short-handed rosters. The Braves played just four in their last Saturday at Western Michigan, the sixth time during their 9-match skid they have competed with fewer than six players. Similarly, Illinois State (9-8) has been short-handed in five straight matches and suffered its fourth straight loss March 21 while playing with just four against Murray State.
