ST. LOUIS – Illinois State softball's Mack Leonard is one of 10 student-athletes named as a State Farm MVC Good Neighbor Award recipient for the Spring of 2020 by Commissioner Doug Elgin, the league office announced on Tuesday.
The standout utility player carries an impressive 3.91 cumulative grade-point average (GPA) in the classroom as an exercise science major. Leonard earned a spot on the MVC Honor Roll during the 2018-19 school year and has been placed on Illinois State's AFNI Honor Roll three times.
In addition to her academic achievements, Leonard has continued to make a difference in her hometown of Normal and the surrounding area, as well as Illinois State's campus.
