PEORIA — Troy Pierce, Bradley’s coordinator of player development and video operations, has joined the staff at Southern Illinois-Edwardsville as an assistant coach.
Pierce, who spent the past three seasons at BU in his dual roles, will be part of the Cougars’ coaching staff headed by Brian Barone, the son of former Bradley assistant coach Tony Barone.
The younger Barone has been an SIUE assistant the past two seasons and was named interim head coach in March following the dismissal of Jon Harris.
“I have known Troy for several years and something that has always stood out to me has been his positive energy,” said Barone in a statement.
