After helping lead the Bradley men's basketball team to its first Missouri Valley Conference sweep of the season, junior Terry Nolan Jr. was named the league's Newcomer of the Week, announced on Tuesday.
Nolan averaged 14.5 points in a pair of victories against Evansville, shooting 47.1 percent from the field. He also added seven rebounds, four assists and three assists in the two wins as Bradley improved to 3-1 in conference play. He opened the weekend series with a 16-point outing on Saturday, making 5-of-10 shots with five boards. He then helped the Braves complete with sweep with 13 points in the finale, including a 3-of-6 performance from beyond the arc.
