VALPARAISO, IN – Bradley Tennis concluded the Missouri Valley Conference Individual Championships on Sunday, securing four runners-up finishes and two third places across the ten Flights.
Kirstin Hailey/Sandra Maletin secured a third-place finish in Flight 1 due to a withdrawal by Drake. Madalena Andrade/Maria Bezmenova followed by winning their third-place match 8-6 at Flight 2.
Maletin earned her third career MVC Individual Runner Up at Flight 1 Singles, dropping a nail-bitter 3-6, 6-4, 6-7(7).
Bozana Lojpur mounted a furious comeback in the consolation match of Flight 2, with the defending champ wrapping up a third-place finish by winning 1-6, 6-2, 11-9.
