PEORIA, Ill – Anchored for the second day in a row by winning the doubles point and quick straight set victories by Sandra Maletin and Maria Bezmenova, the Braves swept the Chicago State Cougars by a score of 7-0 Saturday at The Clubs at River City.
The Braves took early leads in all three doubles matches for the first time this season, and clinched the point with a 6-2 win by Bozana Lojpur/Nikki Perlwitz at #2 and a 6-4 win by Maletin and Victoria Sanchez Bronzetti.
