ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- Junior Taylor Ledwein (New Prague, Minn./New Prague) has been named the Missouri Valley Conference Golfer of the Week according to an announcement by the league office Wednesday afternoon after leading Bradley Women's Golf at the Lake Oconee Invitational in the team's spring opener.
Ledwein tied for 37th at the Lake Oconee Invitational played at the par-72 The National in Greensboro, Ga., this past weekend. In a field which included nine teams ranked in the top 100 of the latest Golfweek.com rankings, including #5 Vanderbilt, Ledwein finished four shots out of the top 20 in a tie for 37th at +15 (231).
