PEORIA, Ill. -- Senior women's golfer Taylor Ledwein (New Prague, Minn./New Prague) has been named the Bradley COUNTRY Financial Scholar-Athlete of the Week announced Wednesday after a second-place finish at last week's Chippewa Invitational.
After missing the first three tournaments of the season due to injury, three-time All-MVC performer Taylor Ledwein took second in her first outing of the year and helped Bradley Women's Golf to a second-place team finish at last week's inaugural Chippewa Invitational in Birmingham, Mich. She was tied for seventh overall after a first-round 76, but fired six birdies during the final round to post a three-under 69 and climb into second as she finished four back of medalist Katie Chipman of Grand Valley State.
