PEORIA, Ill. -- Junior women's golfer Taylor Ledwein (New Prague, Minn./New Prague) has been named the Bradley COUNTRY Financial Scholar-Athlete of the Week announced Wednesday after winning medalist honors at the Babs Steffens Hatter Collegiate in Daytona Beach, Fla.
Earning the first individual title of her collegiate career, Ledwein claimed the top spot at the Babs Steffens Hatter Collegiate by three strokes, while helping Bradley Women's Golf to a second-place team finish in the 12-team field. Ledwein turned in the lowest 54-hole score of her Bradley career, finishing at one-over par 217 at the par-72 LPGA International Hills Course in Daytona Beach.
