PEORIA, Ill. – Senior golfer Taylor Ledwein (New Prague, Minn./New Prague) has been named this week's Bradley Scholar-Athlete of the Week announced Wednesday after claiming medalist honors at the Diane Daugherty Invitational.
Ledwein earned her second career medalist title, taking top individual honors at the Diane Daugherty Invitational in Kirkwood, Mo. In a tournament that featured eight of the other nine MVC schools, Ledwein batted windy conditions on the opening day to fire a career-best four-under 67 at the par-71 Greenbriar Hills Country Club. She played the back nine four-under with birdies on 11, 12, 13 and 15 during the opening round of play with her 67 the second-lowest round in school history.
