NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Freshman Addie Welsh hit her first career homer, scoring twice and driving in a pair and fellow frosh Abbott Badgley held Akron to two unearned runs as the duo helped Bradley Softball to a 7-2 victory over the Zips Friday at the Bruin Classic.
Bradley (11-10 overall) opened the scoring with a run in the bottom of the first. Keeler van Breusegen singled for her third hit of the day and stole second.
