PEORIA, Ill. -- Bradley Softball will host the inaugural Bradley Softball Long Ball Derby Friday, Jan. 21 at the Louisville Slugger Sports Complex Slugger Dome announced by head coach Amy Hayes.
The fundraising event, which is open to the public and will begin at 1:30 p.m., will feature all 2022 Bradley Softball players and coaches swinging for the fences. For those unable to attend in person, plans to stream the event via YouTube are in the works.
Each participant is looking for sponsors for their longest hit out of ten swings. The minimum pledge per contestant is 35¢/foot, with all proceeds directly benefiting Bradley Softball.
