PEORIA, Ill. -- Bradley Softball makes the first of two trips to Nashville, Tenn., with the Braves venturing to Music City this weekend for the Roar City Invitational, which includes single games against tournament-host Tennessee State and IUPUI along with a pair of contests against defending Mid-American Conference champion Miami (Ohio).
The weekend's action starts Friday with Bradley (1-4 overall) facing 2021 NCAA Tournament participant Miami (Ohio) at 4:30 p.m. at Tennessee State's Tiger Field. Friday's game will mark the season opener for Miami, which posted a 46-10 record last spring.
