FARMERS BRANCH, Texas – Sophomore Caitlin Sims produced a 1-over-par 72 (36-36) in Tuesday's third and final round of the Bradley Spring Break Invitational to finish all alone in sixth place on the individual leaderboard at the par-71, 5,921-yard Brookhaven Country Club in the northwest Dallas suburbs.
After shooting a 2-over-par 36 on the front nine, Sims fired a 1-under-par 36 on the back, which included two birdies. She finished the tournament with a 225 (77-76-72).
Illinois State concluded the event in seventh place, but the Redbirds did record their lowest round of the tournament Tuesday with a 303 to finish with a three-round total of 928 (308-317-303).
