NORMAL, Ill. – Illinois State Track & Field will be represented by seven student-athletes at the NCAA West Preliminary Round as announced by the NCAA Division I Men's and Women's Track & Field and Cross Country Committee on Thursday.
In order to qualify for the NCAA West Preliminary Round, student-athletes must rank among the top-48 in their respective events. The seven Redbirds advancing will compete for a chance to move on to the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships. Arkansas will host the NCAA West Prelims from Wednesday, May 25 through Saturday, May 28 at John McDonnell Field in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
