PEORIA, Ill. -- Junior runner Scott Seymour (Kenosha, Wis./Mary D. Bradford) has been named the Bradley COUNTRY Financial Scholar-Athlete of the Week announced Wednesday after highlighting competition for the Bradley Track & Field team at last week's Bryan Clay Invitational.
Seymour ran both the 800 and 1,500 meters in Azusa, Calif. last week, clocking a personal-best time in the 800 meters. He posted a time of 1:50.40 in the 800 meters for the second-best time in school history and topped his pervious personal best by nearly a quarter second as he now owns the fourth-best time in the event in the MVC this spring.
