PEORIA, Ill. – Graduate runner Scott Seymour (Kenosha, Wis./Mary D. Bradford) has been named this week's Bradley Scholar-Athlete of the Week announced Wednesday after posting a personal-best time in the 800 meters last week.
Seymour clocked the top time of the 30 runners competing in the 800 meters at last week's Illinois State Invitational, beating his previous personal-best time by half a second. His time of 1:49.89 ranks second in the MVC this season and 43rd in the NCAA West Region. An accounting major, Seymour owns a 3.69 cumulative grade point average.
