COLUMBIA, Mo. – Using a four-under-par second round, Illinois State senior Ali Schrock tied the single-round Illinois State record with a 68, just the seventh time a Redbird golfer has eclipsed the 70-shot plateau.
Schrock ties with Rachel Powers who carded an opening-round 68 at the Cardinal Cup on September 17, 2012. Her two-round 140 has her in second place individually, trailing only Sarah Bell of Oral Roberts. She also joins Powers, Stacey Miller, Marisa Milligan, and Samantha Richdale as the only Redbirds to shoot a round in the 60's while as a member of the Redbird program.
