ST. LOUIS – For the third time this season, Illinois State women's golfer Ali Schrock has been named the MVC Golfer of the Week after her medalist performance at the 2022 Redbird Spring Invitational. The three Golfer of the Week honors this season is tied for the most in the conference.
Schrock won the event with rounds of 73 and 70, finishing three strokes better than the next best in the field. She was Illinois State's first medalist winner since Brianna Cooper won the Redbird Fall Invitational at the beginning of the 2014-15 season, and ISU's first stroke-play tournament win since the 2014 Redbird Fall Invitational.
