CARBONDALE, IL – Senior Taylor Ledwein finished second with a 2-round, +4 and Maddie Hawkins equaled the second-best individual round of the day with a +1 (73), but it was not enough to prevent Southern Illinois from rallying for a 6-shot win in the two-day dual tournament between the Missouri Valley Conference rivals at Hickory Ridge.
Counting four scores for a second-day 293, the Salukis made up nine shots Sunday for a 596-602 victory.
Among Bradley's nine players, the team's top counting scorers Sunday –Ledwein (74), Elyse Emerzian (75), Mara Flaherty (75) and Megan Welch (78) – combined for a second-round 302.
