COLUMBIA, Mo. – Competing against the country's best runners, JD Rosslee ran the fastest 10-kilometer time in program history at the NCAA Cross Country Championships in Columbia, Mo.
The South African clocked a 29:31.3 for the first sub-30-minute 10K time in program history. Rosslee shattered his own program record, 30:07.7 at last year's Midwest Regional at Newman Golf Course, by over 30 seconds. Including 10-kilometer Outdoor Track & Field times, it marks only the 10th time ever a Brave has run a 10K race in under 30 minutes.
Rosslee, making his first career national meet appearance and Bradley's first NCAA Cross Country Championship appearance since 2018, finished the race in 87th place – the best NCAA Championship finish for a Bradley man since 2016, when Michael Ward placed 71st – out of a field of over 250 runners.
