STILLWATER, Okla. -- With a 12th-place finish at the NCAA Cross Country Midwest Regional, junior JD Rosslee qualifies for the NCAA Cross Country Championships at Gans Creek Cross Country Course in Columbia, Missouri.
The South African clocked a 30:30.6 to be one of four automatic qualifiers for the Men's 10K Championship. Rosslee was the fourth-highest finisher among athletes on teams outside of the top two finishing teams. He also earned All-Midwest Region honors for finishing in the top 25 individually, the program's first athlete to do so since 2019.
Rosslee is the first Brave to individually qualify for the NCAA Championships since 2017, when Taylor Floyd Mews and Jake Hoffert finished sixth and ninth, respectively, at the Regional in Ames, Iowa.
