After hearing an hour's worth of stories and tributes about his life as a Bradley icon, Joe Stowell praised his old broadcast partner, Dave Snell, for how well Snell could always impersonate him.
"I met Dave when he was in high school, and even then, he could do my voice better than I could," Stowell said Friday during his 90th birthday celebration at Renaissance Coliseum. "And he's funnier with it. I'm not very funny."
Everyone in the luncheon crowd of 340 who celebrated his Dec. 24 birthday with a rousing Happy Birthday serenade would beg to differ.
