OXFORD, Miss. – After a week away from team competition, the Illinois State Track & Field program heads down South, making the trip to Oxford, Mississippi for the Joe Walker Invite on April 7 and 8.
The action from the Ole Miss Track & Field Complex is set to start on Friday at 12:30 p.m. CT with the hammer throw competition.

The Redbirds last competed two weeks ago in the Big Blue Classic at Eastern Illinois. As the event kicked off the outdoor season for ISU, the 'Birds saw multiple athletes hold strong performances to begin the season.
