NORMAL, Ill. – The Illinois State track & field team is set to host the first John Coughlan Invite to open the 2021-22 indoor campaign on Saturday, Dec. 4 inside Horton Fieldhouse. Both the track and field events will begin at noon CT. The meet will also mark the first time the 'Birds have hosted an indoor meet in 687 days.

The John Coughlan Invite is named after legendary ISU Track & Field head coach John Coughlan. In his 23-year tenure at Illinois State, Coughlan won 18 Missouri Valley Conference team titles.
