OMAHA, Neb. – A weekend trip to Omaha resulted in a pair of wins for Illinois State, as the Redbirds (6-3) picked up a 4-2 win at Creighton to finish the weekend 2-0.
In doubles action, the No. 1 duo of Tijana Zlatanovic and Tara Damnjanovic picked up a 6-4 win to tie things up after the Bluejays won at No. 3. The No. 2 match between Creighton's Sarah Wilcox and Kate Krueger and ISU's Maria Potsi and Penelope Abreu was left unfinished in the interest of time.
