NORMAL, Ill. – The Illinois State women's tennis team picked up two more wins last weekend to stay undefeated in Missouri Valley Conference action, and for their efforts in those wins Tijana Zlatanovic and Tara Damnjanovic have been honored with MVC weekly awards by the league office on Wednesday.
For the second time this season, Zlatanovic was named the MVC Singles Player of the Week while the duo of Damnjanovic and Zlatanovic earned their third MVC Doubles Team of the Week honor in 2023.
Zlatanovic led the Redbirds to a pair of wins last week in MVC action and helped the team improve to 5-0 in league play.
