DES MOINES, Iowa – No. 2 seed Illinois State swept I-74 rival No. 3 seed Bradley by a score of 4-0 on Saturday afternoon at the 2022 Missouri Valley Conference Tennis Championship to advance to the title match on Sunday at the Roger Knapp Tennis Center against No. 1 seed Drake.
The Redbirds took the early advantage by winning the doubles point. The No. 2 team of Penelope Abreu and Maria Potsi cruised to a 6-2 win over Bradley's Bozana Lojpur and Nikki Perlwitz to put ISU in the driver's seat. A 6-2 win by the No.
