ST. LOUIS – Illinois State track & field swept all four MVC Athlete of the Week honors to kick off the 2021-22 season, as Mye'Joi Williams (Throws), Logan Calvin (Throws), Seven Hicks (Sprints) and Marshaun Cook (Sprints) were all recognized by the Valley for their performances at the John Coughlan Invite.
Williams, who is a sophomore, opened the 2021-22 indoor season on a high note by winning the shot put with a lifetime best throw of 16.64m (54-7.25 ft.). William's throw ranks second in the nation and first in the MVC.
