NORMAL, Ill. – Illinois State track & field's Seven Hicks and Brandon Ratliff swept the Missouri Valley Conference Track Athlete of the Week honors to start the new year off strong for the Redbirds. Hicks, a junior sprinter, was named Female Track Athlete of the Week, while Ratliff, a senior hurdler, received the Male Track Athlete of the Week honor.
Hicks has won the MVC Female Track Athlete of the Week one other time during her Redbird career back in 2021. Coming off an injury last season, Hicks soared in her first meet back.
