WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Through nearly a round and a half, the Illinois State Redbirds stand tied for ninth at the Purdue Fall Invitational, as play has been halted through the early portion of the second round because of weather coming into the area.
ISU opened the day with a first-round 304, and saw the team open the second round with fury and focus and were four strokes under par when play was halted.
Indiana, who is one stroke under par – is the leader in the field during the time of the halt, while Purdue (even par), Cincinnati (even par), Toledo (+5), Marquette (+7), Miami (+10), Kent State (+10), Northern Illinois (+11) all stand just ahead of ISU's +12 aggregate score.
