Normal, Ill.-- The Illinois State women's soccer team is gearing up to face the Evansville Aces on Saturday afternoon. The match, originally set for 5 p.m., has been moved to 2 p.m. The match will be the first game of MVC conference play for the 'Birds. Illinois State is coming off a 3-1 road loss against Saint Louis last week.
In the all time series against the Aces Illinois State holds a 19-8-3 lead, with the Redbirds winning last year's match 3-0. ISU has defeated Evansville in the last five match ups, and the 'Birds have won nine of the last ten matchups.
