The two programs meet for the sixth time in the series history with the Redbirds holding a 3-1-1 in the all-time series. In last year's contest the two teams recorded their first draw of the series with a scoreless tie in September in Carbondale, Ill. In Normal, Illinois State is unbeaten with a 2-0-0 record.
The Redbirds enter Sunday's matchup after recording a 0-0 draw with Valparaiso, Thursday evening at Brown Field.
