NORMAL, Ill. – Illinois State baseball will return to action this weekend when the team plays host to Indiana State in Normal for a three-game conference series in a battle for first place in the Missouri Valley Conference. First pitch on Friday is scheduled for 5 p.m. with Saturday being Stuff the Duff at Duffy Bass Field at 2 p.m. Sunday will conclude the weekend with first pitch slated for 1 p.m.
Illinois State Redbirds (27-18, 9-3 MVC)
The Redbirds come into the weekend on a three-game skid after a conference series loss at Dallas Baptist, and a mid-week loss at Northwestern.
