TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Illinois State track & field concluded the 2021 outdoor regular season with six event wins at Indiana State's Pacesetter Sports Invite on Friday, May 7.
The throws squad led the charge, tallying wins in the men's shot put, men's discus and women's discus. Redshirt-junior Logan Calvin won both the shot put and the discus for the Redbird men, throwing 18.55m (60-10.75 ft.) in the shot put and 51.12m (167-8 ft.) in the discus. On the women's side, senior Sydney Laufenberg won the discus for the fifth time this season, throwing a winning mark of 51.
