Redbirds Look to End Five-Game Skid in Series at Tulane

NORMAL, Ill. – The Illinois State baseball team will try to put an end to a season-long five-game losing streak when it heads to New Orleans, Louisiana, for a three-game series at Tulane, beginning Friday.

The Redbirds will take on the Green Wave Friday at 6:30 p.m., Saturday at 4:30 p.m. and Sunday at 12 p.m. at Green Field at Turchin Stadium.

Illinois State (7-13) seeks its first win after returning from its trip to Florida, March 4-12, where the Redbirds posted a 5-3 record. The Redbirds suffered a 5-4 loss in 14 innings at Saint Louis on March 16, before being swept in a three-game series by Milwaukee, March 18-20, at Duffy Bass Field.
