MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The Illinois State women's tennis team hit the road for the first time this spring and headed to Wisconsin to take on Milwaukee on Saturday afternoon. The Redbirds battled the Panthers and were able to come away with the 5-2 win at the River Glen Elite Club.
"We were challenged today starting with doubles, and I'm really proud of how we found ways to win when we were in a tough position," ISU head coach Maja Kovacek said. "Elena (Jankulovska) really came through in a big way today. She was in a must win position in both doubles and singles and came back from a set down to win that fourth clinching point for us.
