CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – The Illinois State gymnastics team fell behind early in its meet Friday night at Southeast Missouri State, but the Redbirds rallied to defeat their MIC rivals the Redhawks by a score of 195.025-195.000 at Houck Field House.

"We started off on bars with some minor mistakes that added up throughout the first rotation, but then we went to vault and looked very strong and followed that up with a strong floor rotation.
