NORMAL, Ill. – The Illinois State track & field teams will go for their third-straight sweep of the Missouri Valley Conference indoor titles this weekend when they compete at the MVC Indoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday, Feb. 29 and Sunday, March 1 at the University of Northern Iowa. Friday's events are slated to begin at 9:30 a.m. inside the UNI Dome.

The Redbirds have a combined 10 student-athletes across the men's and women's teams that currently have the best time/mark in the Valley. Southern Illinois and Loyola follow Illinois State closely with a combined eight student-athletes each who own one of the league's top spots.
