NORMAL, Ill. – The Illinois State women's tennis team wrapped up its spring trip Saturday against Southeast Missouri, and it was the Redhawks who came out on top winning the match 4-2 in Paducah, Kentucky.
"There were a lot of momentum changes today and we did well to respond after losing the doubles point," ISU head coach Maja Kovacek said. We played great for the first hour of singles. Our opponents raised their game after that, and it was a close battle until the end. Overall, it was a great match and there are a lot of positives to take from it despite the loss.
