Redbirds Drop Home Finale in overtime

NORMAL, Ill. – Despite a season-high 23 points from Illinois State junior forward Keith Fisher III, the Redbirds dropped their 2019-20 home finale, falling in overtime to the Bradley Braves by a 74-71 final score.

How it Happened

Bradley struck first in the game with a free throw and a lay-in, before the Redbirds ran off five in a row. The Braves took the lead again with 12:53 to play in the opening half before ISU used a 13-2 run over the next four minutes. The lead stretched to as many as 13 following a pair of Jaycee Hillsman free throws; however, Bradley fought back to close the gap to one at 29-28.
