IOWA CITY, Iowa – Four Redbirds collected All-MVC Honorable Mention honors to lead Illinois State on day three of the Missouri Valley Conference Swimming & Diving Championships at Iowa Campus Recreation & Wellness Center.
Freshman Emma Feltzer and sophomore Diana Walker earned their first All-MVC Honorable Mention honors of the weekend, each finishing among the top-eight in the 200-yard freestyle. Feltzer, an Edwardsburg, Michigan native, placed fifth with a personal-best time of 1:50.44, while Walker came in seventh with a time of 1:52.84.
Last year's Elite 17 Award selection, Emily Keebler, tallied her first conference accolade of the 2021-22 season, just missing First Team honors with a fourth-place finish in the 400-yard IM.
