NORMAL, Ill. – Coming off their third straight win to start the spring season, the Illinois State women's tennis team will be back on the road this weekend for a Sunday matinee against Illinois. First serve is set for noon at the Atkins Tennis Center.
The Redbirds (3-0) picked up a win over Milwaukee last Saturday by a final of 5-2. As doubles would be tied, it came down to court No. 3, where Elena Jankulovska and Nevena Kolarevic gutted out a 7-6 tiebreaker win over Nadiia Konieva and Giorgia Cavestro to secure the doubles point for the Redbirds.
